Biologie

Die Familie hat 6 verhältnismäßig große Augen, die eng aneinander stehen. Die Tiere sind um die 2 mm groß und hellorange bis rot gefärbt. Normalerweise bewegen sie sich sehr langsam, schon fast schleichend. (Bellmann 2006) Bei Störung können sie allerdings blitzschnell das Weite suchen.
