Das war wohl ein Missverständnis:
<nowiki>
Martin,
Now that I have seen your site - very nice, and I will explore it further - I see that you are using the world maps, not the British maps.
These maps were produced from data collected by John Murphy, as it says on the page when you get there, so it would be better to have a citation such as:
World Distribution. Data collated by John Murphy.

Version vom 29. Juli 2008, 21:15 Uhr

Die Quellenangabe war falsch

Marint,

The maps on the NBN Gateway are 'copies' of those in:

Harvey, P.R., Nellist, D.R. & Telfer, M.G. (eds) 2002. Provisional atlas of British spiders (Arachnida, Araneae), Volumes 1 & 2. Huntingdon: Biological Records Centre

The records for these maps and the more up-to-date ones accessible on the web site were supplied to the Spider Recording Scheme by large numbers of individuals.

Hoping that this helps

John Partridge
BAS Secretary
