Merkmale

Weibchen werden 7,0 bis 8,0 mm groß, Männchen 5,1 bis 5,8 mm. (Martens 1978)

Merkmale

Schwarz ohne Zeichnung. Langbeinig. Markanter Sattel durch schmale weiße Umrandung abgehoben. (Martens 1978)

Reifezeit

Adulte Tiere findet man von Ende März bis Ende Juni. (Wijnhoven 2009)

Lebensraum

Platybunus pinetorum lebt vorzugsweise in den Laub- und Mischwäldern der Mittelgebirge und der Alpen. Meist im feuchtkühlen, sonnengeschützten Bestandsinnern. Bei hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit auch an Waldrändern. (Martens 1978)
