Merkmale
Weibchen werden 5,2 bis 7,3 mm groß, Männchen 3,7 bis 5,0 mm.
Auffallend lange Beine. Oberseite bräunlich, Unterseite hell gelb.
Die Tiere sind nachtaktiv.
Adulte Tiere findet man von Juni bis September mit der Hauptreifezeit im Juli und August. (Martens 1978)
Lebensraum
Geschlossene, hochstämmige Wälder mit viel Unterwuchs, aber auch in der Randzone lichter Mischwälder; oft in Wassernähe. Tagesruheplätze befinden sich an Baumstämmen, Felsen und Mauern sowie auf Blättern in der Kraut- und Strauchschicht. (Martens 1978)
