Merkmale
Körperlänge: 2,8 bis 4,0 mm.
Klein, rotbraune Grundfärbung mit undeutlicher Sattelzeichnung. Auf dem Augenhügel befinden sich beidseits 4 Stacheln, von denen der zweite etwas länger ist als die anderen. Am Vorderrand des Prosomas befindet sich ein Dreizack. Der mittlere Dorn ist deutlich länger als die anderen beiden. (Wijnhoven 2009)

Reifezeit
Adulte Tiere findet man von August bis Ende Dezember, mit der Hauptaktivität im November. (Wijnhoven 2009)
Lebensraum
Die Art bevorzugt mäßig feuchte Wälder und Graslandschaften, fühlt sich aber auch an trockeneren Orten in den Dünen wohl. Hauptsächlich findet man die Tiere in der Laubstreu, im Moos, unter Holz, in niedriger Vegetation und an Baumstämmen. (Wijnhoven 2009)
