Biologie
Körpergröße: 7 bis 10 mm. (Eikamp et al. 2007)
Holocnemus pluchei tritt sowohl allein im Netz lebend, als auch in Gruppen verschiedener Altersstadien in einem Netz lebend auf. (Jakob & E. M. 1994) In Griechenland (Kreta) sind die Tiere oft in Eingangsbereichen von Höhlen, Kellern und verfallenen Gebäuden anzutreffen. (Eikamp et al. 2007)
Verbreitung
Mediterrane Art, welche nach Europa einwandert. (World Spider Catalog 2020)
In die USA ist diese Art ebenfalls eingewandert. (Porter et al. 1990)
