Merkmale
Große, robuste, langbeinige Art der Gattung Opilio. Körper grau-grün ohne eine markante Sattelzeichnung. Coxae distal mit dunklen Flecken. Körperlänge: Weibchen 6,3 bis 7,8 mm, Männchen 4,0 bis 6,5 mm (Martens 1978).
Ähnliche Arten
Opilio parietinus hat gewisse Ähnlichkeiten mit Opilio canestrinii, jedoch fehlen Opilio parietinus die hellen Querstreifen von O. canestrinii.
Reifezeit
Adulte Tiere findet man von August bis Ende November. (Wijnhoven 2009)
Lebensraum
Opilio parietinus lebt(-e?) vorwiegend an Gebäuden und vermutlich auch an und in natürlichen Höhlen (Fundstellenbeschreibung, Slg. Humboldt Museum, Berlin).
Verbreitung
Die Art ist sehr selten geworden. Sie wurde durch O. canestrinii verdrängt.
