Merkmale
Beide Gechlechter werden 7 bis 9 mm groß.
Kurze Beine. Gräuliche Grundfärbung mit einer schwarzen Sattelzeichnung, die in der Mitte mit einem blass gelblichen Längsband verziert ist. Drei schwach ausgeprägte Dornen. Der Augenhügel befindet sich in einiger Entfernung vom Vorderende.
Reife Tiere findet man von August bis Dezember (Bellmann 2006).
Lebensraum
Lichte Wälder und Gebüsche (Bellmann 2006).
Verbreitung
Westlicher Mittelmeerraum (Bellmann 2006).
