Merkmale
Die Arten der Gattung Homalenotus sind anhand der genitalmorphologischer Merkmale nicht zu unterscheiden, weshalb sie habituell vor allem anhand der Anordnung der Kegelhöcker auf den Thoracal- und Abdominaltergiten und der Bewehrung des Tuber oculorum und der Beine unterschieden wird (Grasshoff 1959).
