Merkmale
Körperlänge: Weibchen und Männchen erreichen 3,5 bis 4,2 mm (Legg & Farr-Cox 2016).
Lebensraum
Holzgebunden. Bevorzugt altes zerfallenes Holz (besonders an Eichen, kommt aber auch an Buchen und Ulmen vor), oft sonnenexponiert. Gilt als Zeiger für alte Waldbestände. (Legg & Farr-Cox 2016)
